The Roots: Growing up in Santiniketan, West Bengal, India, surrounded by rich cultural heritage and artistic influences, it’s no surprise that her journey to pottery and ceramics was a natural one. Drawn to the art form from a young age, she always had a fascination with the process of molding clay into something beautiful. Her educational background in chemistry honours from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a postgraduate B.Tech and M.Tech in polymer science and technology from Calcutta University, followed by a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, took her on a different path. But, her passion for clay never faded, and she eventually made the decision to pursue this passion full-time. The transition was not easy, but she was driven by a deep passion for creativity. Each piece she creates is a reflection of her journey and the fulfillment that comes with pursuing her passion.
